A Woman’s Affair is a highly anticipated event and a bold representation of the quality women owned and women oriented businesses in Fairbanks. Sponsored by the Law Office of Rita T. Allee, this is a place to discuss important health issues, get tips for managing finances, see the latest fashions, enjoy a makeover or massage, pick up new home-decorating ideas and gardening information, or discover a new hobby…all under one roof. There are free seminars all weekend sponsored by Borealis Laser (click here for seminar schedule) and a wine tasting kickoff on Friday nightsponsored by Robinson & Ward Certified Public Accountants.
The 2018 event was a ton of fun with over 150 different businesses and agencies and a public attendance of 3500. The public loved the “feel” of the show and enjoyed the opportunity of gathering educational information, supporting local non-profits, and shopping.
FRIDAY NIGHT WINE TASTING
Friday evening opens with a wine tasting sponsored by Robinson & Ward Certified Public Accountants with wines by The Odom Corporation. Like the rest of the weekend, the event is a ton of fun! Tickets include the tasting, hors d’oeuvres, great door prizes, and a weekend pass to A Woman’s Affair. The cost at the door is $25 or $12 for non-alcoholic (includes food, door prizes, and weekend pass). If you’d like to purchase tickets at a discounted rate in advance, please click here!
Saturday and Sunday admission is $5 for adults, children 12 and under free, and Sunday is free to anyone who brings 2 cans of food for the Fairbanks Food Bank!
If you have a woman owned or woman oriented business, we’d love to have you in our show! A Woman’s Affair is your chance to market your business or agency to a large cross section of our community in a single weekend.
Where is it taking place? The Carlson Center. The Center has over 43,000 sq. ft. of available space and is the Interior’s premier location for trade shows.
What about advertising? $7,000 will be spent on advertising A Woman’s Affair. All four medias will be used, TV, Radio, the newspaper, and social media. In addition there will be show media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to well over $10,000.

Move-out must be completed by 10pm Sun.

10’x10′ Non-profit booth space = $350
BOOTH SPACE RENTAL INCLUDES:
Booth space rental includes:10’x10′ of space, pipe and drape partitions, two chairs, and electrical outlet. You may bring your own table or rent one from the Carlson Center.
We will send you a space confirmation and an invoice. Early registration requires $50 down to confirm participation. 50% payment will be due January 15th with balance in full March 1. Late registrants (after Mar 1) must pay in full at time of registration. PLEASE READ our New Exhibitor Contract before sending payment.
