ARMY VERSUS AIR FORCE WING COMPETITION ADDED TO WINGAPALOOZA, DISCOUNTED TICKETS
Yukon Club and Wolves Den have been added as participants and will go head to head in addition to going after the Lord of the Wings prize
Fairbanks, AK, September 23 –A special event involving the military presence in the Interior has been added to the 2nd Annual Wingapalooza presented by Alaska Fuel Distributors. The Yukon Club on Eielson Air Force Base, along with the Wolves Den on Ft. Wainwright have both agreed to participate in the event cooking up their best wings.
This will create a special contest between the two where they not only will vie for the coveted ‘Lord of the Wings’ prize, but also go head to head. Special recognition will be made to the winner of this competition, along with our other announcements at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday September 29.
A special priced ticket is also being added for the event. Staff on both military bases, along with active military dependents can get into Wingapalooza for $20. This ticket has been added to Ticketmaster and is available online and at the Carlson Center box office right now for advance purchase, or on the day of the event.
Individuals can purchase their tickets as representing the ‘Army’ or ‘Air Force’ if they qualify for the discount. There will be a different contest measuring which branch of the military sold the most tickets to the event.
